Every Gamestop around where I live sells used games in their original cases, provided the people who traded them in weren't complete retards and didn't have them anymore. The majority of the store's shelf space is taken by used games' cases, but new games only need one sample case per game anyway. I couldn't imagine ever buying a game without its case unless it was something pretty fucking rare, and priced cheap. (Cardboard boxes are a different story though.)
Then again I don't really go to Gamestop for anything since they're overpriced as shit. Anything they have can usually be found online for half their price.
