Pure fighting types are flawed because they all do the same shit as something else. Unless they have a viable unique aspect or do the same thing better than everyone else, they have no reason to exist.
It's why Throh and Hitmonchan are the worse fighting types.

Signature moves/abilities seems to be Game Freak's new MO (I think literally every Gen VII line had something unique to it, be it typing, move or ability) so they need to give it something unique that also makes use of its mediocre stats.
You could start with +55 BST to bring it in line with Ninetales instead of slumming it down at 450 with its old counterpart, Arbok.

Fixed, kinda.

Other overlaps I considered putting in, but was already getting cluttered

Everything but Primeape, Passimian, Mienshao, Hitmonlee and Hitmontop

There are other ability overlaps (Steadfast, Inner Focus, Reckless, Iron Fist) but there's no neat way to represent them. I think all the big ones are covered though.
Also I hope it's obvious that they're vertically arranged by speed.
