Each of your three main encounters with Team Flare should've been used to demonstrate the ideas Lysandre was selling and show that his "solution" to the world's problems, while ultimately wrong, stemmed from accurate ideas and observations.
But no, they're just stealing shit because they need it to power their magic superweapon.
