This was a pain. I literally spent 30 minutes fighting the E4. Let's go through the process, yeah?
Sidney wasn't much of a problem. Cranberry/Swellow and Fumigo/Weezing pretty much dealt with all of his mon. BUT Cranberry did die from Cacturne's Faint Attack.
Phoebe was mainly dealt with Fumigo/Weezing, because I had taught him Shadow Ball.
Glacia was kinda scary. Thunder on Negans/Minun didn't do anything to her bulky Water types, and Fire Blast from Fumigo didn't do a lot to the Glailie. Shadow Ball was doing work, but her Walrein took out Fumigo, and Kite/Aggron came in to finish it off with Iron Tail.
Drake was a pushover with Blizzard and Iron Tail from Kite/Aggron and Thunder from Negans/Minun.
Steven was difficult. He carried Earthquake on his mon, so I had to try and keep Kite alive. Lou/Bellossom took out the majority of his team with Sleep Powder+Petal Dance. Then comes in Metagross. I had to sacrifice Negans to land a Thunder Wave so Kite will outspeed his Metagross on Earthquakes.
I don't know if I'll continue with Sapphire tonight. This run was very...unpleasant. This was the first time playing through Ruby, since I always play through Sapphire, so maybe Sapphire will go better.
