Alright, lads. I'm playing the older games for the first time and I've only got 3 fire types to choose from: Hothead on route 1, Bobo a route or two later, and Galbo in the late game. I'd pick Burning Leo if he was in this game, but he's not and Flamer's bad in this game since it's during the Fire/Burning split.
I'm thinking Galbo since I liked its variant and evo in the later games. I looked it up and apparently Galboros was a crossgen evo, but is Galbo still good without its evolution?
