I like a lot of the pokemon, I think the creativity was a big step up from gen I, it house a good hanful of my favorites as well. I also think Johto is just a cool region, even if it is small, it feels very historical and mysterious, especially in HGSS.

The level scaling is shit, of course. Kanto was butchered in the originals.
