>>49193742XY was exciting at first, when the game released worldwide and it seemed like everyone was getting into the series again. They brought a-lot of great ideas to the series. But I was disappointed when ORAS came out, since they never updated XY for the new Mega Stones. Then new forms of Zygarde came out as TV exclusive, before being awkwardly shoved into Sun/Moon. All this made the XY games feel less complete somehow.
Pokken was great, but the WiiU version was never supported with DLC, and even the Switch game hasn't seen new characters since it launched.
XY anime was fun to watch, with massive improvements to the animation and some of the best battles in the show. But then Ash got cucked out of his best tournament run.
IDK, this is a Generation of dramatic highs and awful lows.
