>>51927289I feel that starters were better when they were just monsters animals that you could roleplay and assign its own personality to. You cant do things like "gangster squirtle" anymore because starters already have their role chosen for them in advance.
As a side, I also prefer them being animals because it helps that you could actually imagine them in a wild environment. Seriously, can you imagine the soccer playing rabbit and singing seal in a natural habitat
