But I like Chicken's story and I like the narrative (in other words headcanon/fanfiction) that she goes for Gladion because his character and relationship is more interesting than any of the alternatives (I prefer hetero ships so lesbian stuff is out, I'm not into pokephilia so Chicken/Buzzwole or Chicken/Nebby is out of the question, Hau is a loser, Guzma is for Plumeria and putting him with anyone other than Plumeria or Lusamine doesn't make any sense, and Kiawe is boring and ugly. So to me, Gladion is the best fit for a romantic partner in a story by a wide margin.
