>>45885702Lysandre is top tier untapped potential for conspiracy theories. Gen 6 shares many concepts with Gen 5 (an ancient king and a war fought 3000 years ago, the main plot revolving around the player being a "chosen one" who befriends a resurrected legendary Pokemon, so on) but their idealistic villains draw strong parallels. Lysandre's clearly older than N and that comes across in the way he talks but they use a lot of the same thoughts to describe their motives. Lysandre crying when he revealed he's going to kill all Pokemon felt like a deliberate inversion of N, and going batshit because he can foresee a terrible future caused by humans is even more interesting when you take everything in this thread into account.
>"I believe being a chosen one means you have the potential to change the future!">"I can only see one future! One where selfish, foolish humans think about nothing other than themselves and steal more and more from one another... It's a tragic future!"It's weird that the key for the ultimate weapon around AZ's neck looks like the one shown in
>>45885771 for N's puzzle box, too.
I can't help but wonder if Lysandre's the spiritual successor to some of the crazier temporal future bullshit Game Freak had in mind for N.
