Fighting types meant seeing a deign that's intimidatingly strong and looks like it could bash your head in. I wasn't a big fan of how they made the newer designs look like cute animals. I like some of them, but nothing strikes me quite like these two.

Not that excellent but at least I don't have to worry about Burn crippling my Dynamic Punches from Machamp, and my item slot is freed up for Assault Vest or Sitrus Berry/Leftovers

Fantastic choices. For me it's Machamp, Conkeldurr and Emboar by far.

Also wanted to be a mono fighting type trainer. Wish I could say the same about being ripped, though. I'm more like my third choice.

Perhaps one of the best/classic examples. I like Conkeldurr--he's my top 2 favorite fighting pokemon (may soon be top 2 of all time) but Machamp is by absolute favorite pokemon of all time, so yeah. It kind of kills me.

I dunno, man. Don't ask me. I have a love-hate relationship with Conkeldurr. For starters, I've always wanted to see a Machamp counterpart, but seeing Conkeldurr's stats made me initially hate it. Conkeldurr is now my second favorite fighting type after Machamp, though.

I dunno. A lot of /vp/ would say you like Machamp but I feel like you're the contrarian that actually likes Conkeldurr for how it is rather than just using it for competitive's sake.

I like both now, though. I used to hate Conkeldurr for stealing Machamp's thunder, but I can't hate the guy. He's now my second favorite fighting type after Machamp, and maybe tied with Emboar.
