Also I know I got real lazy on the safari ball, may fix eventually) sorry for photo of monitor instead of screenshot, sometimes it's just quicker than taking a screenshot, saving it, then moving it to another device so I can use it especially when my main development computer isn't even connected to the local network let alone the internet. Also have text boxes, hp bar, exp bar, battle portrait box, and egg textures based on type combos(mostly so I can use eggs as placeholders for the actual pokemon onscreen until I have a working model loader, but might keep just so every species' eggs don't look the same) done. Working on a custom font, but that's pretty low priority. The goal is to eventually have 100% my own assets so that hopefully it'll fall into the same legal grey area Showdown does where even though it's not an original game/idea it's not using anything else that was made by official sources and won't be worth the effort to go after like fanart and fanfiction, if nothing else it should be more in the clear than most romhacks which are just changes to the official games. Hopefully. If not then it'll just be a portfolio project for myself and my friends to enjoy and show my (still developing) skills and versatility so I can get into gamedev for real instead of typical wage slave busy work that doesn't really produce anything of value in the long run. Other than that I have balltism in the form of matching balls to the mon's colors so I will be adding a thing to let the player swap balls so my existing mons I've had for years can finally match without just pkhexing them. I still carry the pokemon organized play tcg league membership card from the FRLG days in my wallet, been through hell and held together by layers of tape.
