>>47547495>>47548267It is not so much a parrot beak, but rather a generic caricatured bird beak, in the same way that many people similarly draw the head of a cat, a rabbit, a raccoon and a skunk with only slight changes.
When I used to draw, I did this conscientiously because it was easier to give the character expressiveness, deforming the face did not become shocking because from the beginning the viewer could perceive a certain elasticity in the character's face (Very similar to 90's cartoons).
On the other hand, working in-model was more limited as the peak was a rigid structure, so giving it any expressionism looked unnatural, so the expressiveness of the character fell on its eyes and body language.
A good artist could handle this challenge, but most of us get the fast track.
