-If I have a Pokemon a gym leader/rival/team boss/champion also has, my Pokemon will defeat theirs and cement their position as the alpha
-Make sure my Pokemon have at least neutral natures, nothing too sucky
-Add at least two Pokemon to my team I haven't ever tried out or used in a long while even if I don't like them very much
