Kinda upsets me seeing how many people prefer squares over stars. Stars are the OG and I'd expect a lot of veteran shiny hunters to feel the same way.
Honestly I hate the whole alternate animation crap this game is pulling, especially with the fucked up odds (they basically just denote which method was most likely used to get the shiny)
Speaking of which, which gen had the best shiny animation? I prefer 3rd and hate how 4th gen butchered it.
