I got the 252nd slot to work in Crystal.
Obviously the Pokémon isn't fully implemented, I still need at minimum to add a proper sprite, footprint, and do something to the Pokédex to show the 252nd placement in the Old Dex (Sylveon shows up in the New Dex and Alphabetical Dex), but it works seemingly perfectly otherwise.

It's compiled in a really poor way, you can't do so much as change the text to have a different amount of characters without breaking the game.
