>>56255426Emily had no real aspirations other than Pokemon Battling. Just going around the world, free to do as she pleases, just getting into technical fights and such felt a lot more interesting than any plans her parents had for her. She basically wanted to become the next Red-- and in a sense she technically did-- minus anything involving the Pokemon League itself. She finds the way that things have developed and turned out on her path so far are far more interesting than she'd have ever gotten back home under her parent's corporate wings. Especially the revelations about herself and how those revelations have changed her very being in some ways both physically and mentally.
She feels like some kind of dragon-- the fictional magic-using kind rather than the Pokemon kind-- trying to live in a human world now that she physically and mentally hardly resembles a human at all. As far as the Pokemon League is concerned; She's got other things on her plate now that she finds far more interesting than dealing with any Pokemon League related nonsense. She's technically still chasing her dream of just journeying the world, fighting and trying to be stronger but the focus of that kind of energy is different from what was initially planned.
