The entire game's about treasure and whatnot. Naranja/Uva Academy has it's whole treasure hunt thing where you search for what you want most, the minor legendaries of the base game are the Treasures of Ruin, the shillmon of the gen is a walking treasure chest, the DLC's called the Treasure of Area Zero, it's about going through a tough adventure to get what you want. Therefore, a legendary that grants wishes would be the logical endpoint, rather than one focused entirely on time travel. You can also tie the peach into this since it gave the Loyal Three their deepest desires (beauty, strength, and intelligence) and will presumably do the same for Kieran. Since that's probably major in Part 2 and tied to Terapagos I'll let you be the one to figure out how time travel was the culprit all along.
