Gen 3 & Gen 4 > Gen 2 > Gen 6 > Gen 5 > Gen 7 > Gen 8
Weather and Creation trios are amazing
Lugia and Ho-Oh are classics
Xerneas and Yveltal are based, Zygarde is meh though
None of the Tao trio are bad, but a bit overdesigned
Solgeleo is based, Lunala is pretty good, but Necrozma is uninteresting
And all three of the Gen 8 legends are overdesigned. Though the unarmored dogs aren't too bad.
