>>41438302This is the reason I never played Yo-Kai Watch until the last year or so. I always believed the rumors that it had been made to push Pokemon out of the spotlight. But I was convinced to give it a try and I bought copies of Red Cat Corps and White Dog Squad (Both copies are now very rare). I enjoyed the hell out of them so when Yo-Kai Watch 3 was released, I was all over it. Managed to snag a physical copy and I have played it like mad. Yo-Kai Watch is it's own beast so I think it was a little absurd to try and say it was trying wipe out Pokemon.
Yo-Kai Watch 3 has an insane post-game experience. There are literal weeks of content beyond the main game. And I love that I can choose ANY Yo-Kai I have to follow me. My favorite follower is the adorable baby kitten, Nyanses II.
I am excited for Yo-Kai Watch 4 when it comes to the US. Because of the time it takes to be translated and converted to American audiences, when it gets here, it has all the DLC, every character, everything. I still love Pokemon, but with me refusing the buy Sword and Shield, it looks like Yo-Kai Watch 4 will be on my Switch instead.
