I really wish my dad could be here for X and Y. He bought me my first GBC, Blue, and was the person who introduced me to vidya. I always think of him with every new gen and play it for both of us.
He isn't dead, bit paralyzed from the nose down and confined to a nursing home a few hours away. He can't speak, but he's aware of his surroundings. Next time I'm a able to visit him, I'll be sure to tell him all about the new gen!
