even taking into account how it's easier to achieve master rank when playing doubles, i have no idea how i got so many points. 4/5 opponents perfectly countered my team and made each battle take what felt like 30 turns each.
jellicent was the one i was most hyped to use but it ended up being pretty fucking bad– even with the choice scarf equipped, politoed outsped it. the water spout damage in the rain with full HP was crazy, but the chance of that happening when it can get outsped by most things is pretty low. i still managed to find a way to win all those battles, so i guess i'll see how super doubles goes when i give it a shot.
