I caught Yugioh recently. I am seriously beginning to like Arc 5, and I fucking loved Zexal II. The premise of Yugioh is incredibly stupid sounding and I judged it heavily at first, but if you ignore how absurd the notion is of grown men deciding the earths fate via card game it is hella fun to watch.
Anyway, while I'm waiting for Arc 5 to proceed, I was thinking of watching the earlier series. However, I saw some of the original series episodes and they are just PAINFULLY slow. GX seems to be no different. No matter, options aside, I was thinking of watching 5ds because it looks a bit more exciting. I normally don't watch dub, actally I don't really watch in anime in general, but is 5ds worthwhile? Is it comparable to the new seasons in any way? Or is the whole cardgames-on-motorcycles thing just too much?
