Gold successfully completed! This run was definitely rockier than the Gen 1 ones but it was fun getting to use mons that I don't normally use in Gen 2. I am overall pretty happy with my final team. Liw and Sari hard carried me during the second half of the game and they are probably the MVPs for that alone. Still, part of me wishes Oth survived the champion fight. I miss that bird.
The Red fight was surprisingly challenging. Most of his team went down in a single hit but his Snorlax simply refused to die and paraflinched my entire team into yellow health. Thank god Sari got a crit at the last minute or I would've probably lost the run in the most embarrassing way possible.
