People need to figure things out for themselves, and make mistakes along the way. That's how we learn.
Who cares if you get called out for not knowing shit? Take your verbal lashing as a lesson learned and adapt. We were all newfags at one point, but that changed with learning the ins-and-outs of everything.
I will admit it's a nice idea for a thread, but it's a crutch. If there are threads for handouts, people get even lazier than they used to be.
