>>53603828The only reason the Pidgey line hasn't been strictly confined to early game shitmon status like Rattata or Sentret is because Ash's Pidgeotto, and later Pidgeot, was so cool in the anime. It's a very mediocre Normal/Flying type, outclassed by Spearow/Fearow and even Doduo/Dodrio.
