Both routes to Fuchsia are strangely brutal - trainers are using actually really good team comps now, with tutor moves (met a Crobat with Heat Wave and Weavile with Triple Axel) and a basic level of synergy and strategy. And unfortunately, I had probably the biggest loss yet in Viral - carelessly sweeped through a biker's team with Psychic, forgot Gengar could pack Destiny Bond. Fuckin rookie mistake. One of the best bulky mons in the entire game and I lost him to something so dumb
However, the game instantly repaid me by giving me a 1% first encounter on Route 15 with Ditto, this is so stupidly good. I bred Bai for a Munchlax with Pickup (then released Bai as I don't think using breeding to clone shit is kosher) so I can try and get a Destiny Knot, then I'll use the IV perfecter to assemble a lot of near-perfect IV Pokemon going forward without grinding absurd amounts of money.
Have a lot of work this week, might fight Koga (and Brendan, who's blocking the Safari Zone) later.
>>45023605Ay good job! Pity you can't use Zam and Gyarados anymore though, such great mons in later games.
>>45022933I did not read your ruleset lol. And yeah your team looks real set for the rest of the game! At least you'll be able to probably Kricketune two more shots to become a champ
>>45022572f for the fallen bro
how much can you avoid trainers? i wouldn't be surprised if the necessary amount of trainers you need to fight in the game makes you overlevelled if you just have 6 mons tho lol
>>45021768it's not the WORST thing in the world, hustle doesn't affect special attacks and natures aren't huge in the main games unless you have a ton of rules. it's suboptimal but togekiss still should be pretty okay.
togepi line in general for me is ehh, though, friendship evos are always fucking pains
