I'm gonna try to keep Scyther at level 29 until I can catch the last member of my team (Sneasel) so I can teach it Thief and use it to get a Metal Coat early. It learns Metal Claw at level 30 and the only other way Steel move it gets is Steel Wing which is a TM in... Mt. Silver. So I really don't wanna miss out on that.
I'm keeping Skiploom unevolved until level 36 so it can learn Mega Drain early. Otherwise I'll have to wait until Erika for it to have an actual attacking move other than Tackle.
Always feels great to use Mareep, whatever game you're playing.
Sudowoodo has been putting in a lot of work surprisingly. Very good movepool for Gen 2.
Can't wait to get a Kingdra, one of my favourite Pokémon of all time.
Sneasel will be my last member, until I get to Kanto where I will replace it with a Houndour.
