>>57835809This is a great find, thanks bro! I was actually thinking about how crazy the shiny odds are in gen 2 when you have a shiny Ditto during my playthrough, and was wondering how the odds would stack with the shiny code.
I tried hunting one for a bit while hatching eggs for Pokedex completion, but 1/20 encounters and a 1/64 shiny rate said nope. I'll definitely hunt one again later though, those odds are nuts.
It's unfortunate that level-up move inheritance was gutted in the last hotfix due to a glitch, but at least there's still Egg and TM move inheritance which is probably more than enough.
Fun Fact: the last hotfix also patched the Assimilate glitch which was definitely the most frictionless way to get shinies once you got a shiny Beedrill with Assimilate.
You could probably transfer your save file to hotfix one if you wanted to abuse it still, but idk if going back a hotfix could damage the save or not, always keep backups.
>>57835830>But in my opinion there's a lot of situations like Slowking where they simply didn't bother to give it a good move pool at all, even when considering TM's.Facts, I noticed that they added and buffed Accelerock to 60 BP in this hack (real Jet Punch hours) and was hoping a few of the team members on my Rock team could learn it, but none do. I haven't looked at all the rock types movesets, but Kangaskhan was the only one I saw with it.
Like fuck it, Is Volbeat with a 60 BP priority move really breaking the game, alongside heavy hitters like Butterfree and Unown? If I'm fighting that smogon shitter Eris with my 400 BST crew then I'm using Accelerock.
(Don't let the dev see that I said this or finished.)
There's a secret Giovanni fight btw.
