DPP still looked neat but they started implementing more and more fugly 3D graphics during 4th and especially 5th Gens. I hate the 3D transition era with a passion and die inside everytime I play the otherwise good 5th gen games, if for nothing else, then for the horrendous sprites and 3D elements in the world.
