Masuda is a pure lawfag who is too afraid of change and will stick to what he believes works. ANYTHING that challenges his beliefs will be cast aside. Only those who he believes will follow his teachings are the only ones he will cater towards.
That being said, even if Ohmori is a Neutralfag, it's ok, because at the very least he won't be actively trying to appeal one side of the fanbase. Worst case scenario he makes Pokemon games that both new and old players feel no strong way towards. At the very best scenario, he creates games that resonate with all sides of the fanbase... which can easily be done with a 'Easy" and 'Hard' mode. Everyone wins.
The spinoff games are all created by Chaosfags. But a Chaosfag is what the main series needs at this point in order to truly evolve into something higher than our wildest dreams could imagine.
