The common ground for these is assumption/belief that as soon as Gallade has been released, pokemon fandom at large instantly 'forgot' about M-Gardevoir and/or refused to use it.
As for the HATE itself... I admit it is rather hard to draw a hate/like proportion, given that the staunchest of his haters are also quite vocal about it. And vocal opinions tend to dominate across even the most vast realm of silence of contention and common, non-vocal sympathy.
