>>48139892>most of my favorites are from generation 2Honestly feel the same. Gen 2 overall tends to be a good mix of looking like natural creatures and surreal monsters. I have favorites from all gens and every dex has its ups and downs. But there are no Gen 2 Pokémon i actively dislike.
The only flaw with Gen 2 mons is that Game Freak made so many of them shit in battle for no logical reason. (My theory is that they intentionally made Gen 2 mons bad so they wouldn’t overshadow Gen 1 mons. I have no concrete proof, but I’m going to keep believing this until they at least buff all the Johto Starters so they can actually be usable. (Most Johto need buffs but the starters especially because their objective worthlessness is more apparent due to all the special snowflake movepools and forms KANTO gets)
