Guaranteed, almost everyone here has the same problem that has infected the majority of western society, especially america. You don't want to solve problems. You want problems to be solved. You think, surely, if something is bad, someone will fix it. So you do whatever is easiest, and hope someone fixes the problem.
This is why there are no longer political assassinations.
This is why inferior products will sell millions.
This is why a man can be killed in the middle of a busy street, and 30 people will drive past without trying to do a thing.
You'll buy it anyways, because you'll hope other people will solve your problems for you. Because you're coddled. Because you've never learned to push for the world you want. Because the mass of people that influence your life make reality seem more like random chance than something you can do anything about.
This is why so many people don't vote.
This is why every social change movement fails
You see a handful of people trying to fix the problem, so you assume it's fixed, and you get back to your latte. Pathetic. Be the change you want to see in the world.
