No, I don't mean "i went back and specifically chose to use a lumineon in my next playthrough because i get my jollies tricking myself that i'm special for using garbage mons, or i'm a 'good' person because i gave them a chance." It's another pure water type, its stats are trash even for ingame: 69/69/76/69/86/91 (hurr durr 69 lel), and by the time it's available you already can get twenty other water types better than it in every way besides maybe the ability.
