- Play the game like you did when RBY came out. I mean, did you go around asking everyone at school how to play the game? Don't worry about what's good or shit. The game is piss easy that nearly any fully evolved mon can go through it.
- Catch them and find out? Wasn't half the fun of RBY catching Pokemon, raising them, then finding out if they're good or not? Why ruin half the fun.
- No. But there is injection, unless you updated to the latest firmware.
- Yes and no. XY are not as popular, and Game Freak really felt like they are ashamed of XY as everything is ORAS now. There's ORAS-only megas that really fucks over XY players, and most ORAS players don't like XY players for that fact. Game Freak won't patch XY because they're so fucking lazy. Z or whatever will be the same way. There will be Z exclusives that only work with other Z players. Game Freak was worried about fragmentation during Gen 5 which is why they stayed on the DS but they've effectively split up Gen 6. But then again, none of this is new. Megas are just forms and game freak has been doing form exclusives since Gen 3 with Deoxys. Still doesn't make it right though.
