Every so often I'll just go back through looking at all the Pokemon and picking out my favorites. Usually when the question comes up in a group chat. And I can't explain why or when it happened but one day I just saw Koffing and Weezing, Pokemon who had been there since day 1 and were in almost every episode of the original anime, and it just clicked that they were one of the coolest designs in the whole series and are now my #1 Pokemon in the franchise.
