>>41739518>FireRed/LeafGreen would let you travel into Johto after beating the Elite Four, like a reverse of GSCI believed that there was a conspiracy as to why Johto never got a game on the GBA. I thought that there was a conscious decision being made to not remake GSC because by having two regions and a day/night system it would have one-upped the hell out of FRLG & RSE, or that someone in Gamefreak/Nintendo had a beef with someone who had a hand in GSC and made sure it wouldn't get remade.
When I found out about romhacking I thought that Nintendo released game editing software and basically told the fans that if they wanted a Johto remake they could make it themselves.
Pretty sure I even went to Gamestop/EB Games in middle school and asked for a copy of AdvanceMap.
