I don't think The Pokemon Company understands how much the fan base at large loves following pokemon as a game feature, it's a huge deal and can single handedly make Bdsp at least the second best remake behind Hgss.
We need more than just a 1:1 remake of diamond/pearl. Little things like gym leader rematches, vs seeker, challenge mode, an official nuzlocke mode, hidden grottos, could go so far in improving the longevity of the games. There's potential for these to be the greatest pokemon games ever.
The graphics are fine I actually have already grown to like them. My only criticism with pic related is to round the edges of the grass, the square edges are really disconcerting and take away from how nice everything else looks. I'd also include additions from Platinum like how this area had snow.
ILCA should understand that these games are supposed to be definitive editions of Platinum, not Diamond/Pearl. Remaking the inferior versions of Sinnoh is a mistake and will only result in a vastly diminished quality game. Oras gets as much hate as it does because it lacked content from Emerald, don't make the same mistake.
