Every last one of these things would be fixed if Pokemon was in the hands of a competent dev like Monolithsoft or even simply developed in house by Nintendo itself. We've already seen multiple Pokemon games done by the likes of Capcom and surprise surprise they handled it just fine.
Pokemon since it's inception has been held back by Gamefreak, remember the original RBY took ages to develop and launched a buggy piece of shit, and GSC needed Iwata to come in and make space for Kanto because the coders at GF then were too shit to optimize their data storage. The fact that GF had to hir ICLA, a company that has literally never made a game before, to make BDSP, probably what was previously the most anticipated Pokemon remake ever, should show that they're well aware that an actual competent, experienced dev studio would blow them the fuck out of the water, so they had to find the only company they could that was worse at making games than them.
Pokemon has lagged behind graphically in every console generation, and any good or interesting gameplay features are taken out before they can be properly explored and expanded upon for a revolving door of one off gimmicks made to be thrown away. The developers are incompetent, out of touch, lazy, greedy, and are well aware that the Pokemon brand is so obscenely powerful that they can get away with a game as ugly and as nonfunctional as Scarlet and Violet, a game that was Bethesda tier broken but doesn't even have 1/5th of a Bethesda game's content, and 6 months later it's still tripping over itself with the Donphan raids being broken and HOME still not out for some reason..
Everything, every little thing about Pokemon, would be fixed the split second GF is out of the picture. Long have I prayed for the day Nintendo does a hostile corporate takeover and throws GF a morbillion dollars so they can fuck off forever and Pokemon can actually be good compared to other AAA franchises for the first time ever.
