>small island with a really harsh cold climate>chock-full of ice types>starters are chespin, tepig and piplup, they were specifically chosen to be introduced artificially into the island because they seem to be the starters that would adapt better to the island's climate>no pokemon are actually native to the island, all of them are native from other regions>box legendary is jirachi>there are no actual gym leaders, but rather just a few "type-specialists" that are just the best trainers of the main cities in the region>small town that worships jirachi in the middle of the region where everyone wears a hat shaped like jirachi's head>small place you have to put on a hazmat suit to enter because it's full of nuclear waste, full of ghost and poison types and totally not poke-pripyattl;dr: formerly commie third world slav shithole with too much snow
