“Floragato, Magical Leaf!” she commanded.
Dunsparce didn’t flinch. “Dunsparce, Drill Run,” Ash said casually. The ground trembled as Dunsparce’s attack obliterated the incoming Magical Leaf and knocked out Floragato in one hit.
Liko gasped. She returned Floragato and sent out her second Pokémon, Hattrem. “Hattrem, Psychic!” she cried.
“Dunsparce, Earthquake,” Ash countered. Dunsparce slammed the ground with immense force, causing a shockwave and fainted it in one move.
Liko called upon her new legendary Pokemon, Terapagos. The crystalline Pokémon radiated energy as it prepared a powerful Light of Ruin attack.
“Dunsparce, Hyper Beam,” Ash commanded. The resulting blast overwhelmed Terapagos’s attack, leaving it fainted in a single strike.
Liko fell to her knees, astonished. “I… I never stood a chance.”
Ash approached her and offered a hand. “You have great potential, Liko. It’s not about winning or losing; it’s about the bond you share with your Pokémon and the lessons you take from every battle.”
Liko looked up, determination renewed. “Thank you, Ash. I’ll keep training and become stronger.”
