Sacred Gold Nuzlocker here, holy shit i take back what I said about having too many encounters. I think I went through like 10 pokemon deaths between the Mahogany Rocket Hideout and beating Giovanni in Goldenrod. Level cap is really tight in this last half of Johto, back to back boss battles with Giovanni having the same level pokemon as Clair makes this part of the game a tough one.
