I sure as fuck did. Gen 3 was a huge speed improvement over the GB games, then Gen 4 comes along and we're back to slow as shit Bag scrolling, overworld movement, exp bar speed, and picture fucking related.

Nope. I disliked 'em from Day 1. Coming right off of Emerald's smooth 60fps open world to DP's slow as shit everything and NOW SAVING A LOT OF DATA... nearly scared me away from the series. Neither Platinum nor HG/SS did anything to help salvage the trainwreck that was Gen 4 either.

In this thread we'll discuess and compile a list of things people felt were rushed about the XY games. Keep in mind there is no room for "missing features" from past games. That shit always happens. This is for stuff specific to these two games. I'll start with a few:

The Unknown "Dungeon" doesn't count. Dungeons do not consist of a single small room with the legendary pokémon staring you right in the face as soon as you enter.

Did anybody playtest this game? If you go through the E4 & Champion without a pokémon that can Fly, guess what? You have to hoof it through 2 towns, 3 routes, and the Santalune Forest before you have access to a PC.

The only reason you, and any of us, have over 600 hours in D/P is because how fuckawful slow they are.

Text speed set to fast? Still a slow a shit crawl both in & out of battle.

This in turn makes battles slow even with animations turned off.

Walk/Run/Bike speed? Slow.

HM overworld usage? Slow.

Saving your game? Slow.

Saving your game after accessing a PC and doing so much as changing a Box or moving a single PKMN? GEN 1 LEVEL OF FUCKERY ATROCIOUSLY SLOW.
