CC is a fun as fuck way to replay through Gen 2 but its deeply flawed. trainer and wild pokemon "scaling" are really fucky, and while I agree that all HMs should be wiped out forever I dont agree with the way they handled it. Same with trade evolution Pokemon, hate the mechanic but this particular workaround is pretty mediocre. I also hate that you can just instantly fly everywhere. Show me one open world game or RPG that lets you teleport all over the map even to places you've never even been to. Like others said it just makes you feel like you're playing sub-optimally if you actually walk around the world instead of flying everywhere.
