Golem looks like an avalanche boulder suddenly come to life, like it was worn down by rolling down mountains all day for most of its life, being not entirely round (though rounder in some incarnations than others). Gigalith is neat, I think it is a nice compliment, but it looks more deliberate, almost a statute, versus Golem which is literally a live pet rock.
