Never caught a shiny pokemon before, and in the last 3 months or so, I caught 4. All of em on legit games on the lowest possible rate.
First one was a Herdier on Wite2, then a couple weeks later Hoppip on a Soul Silver nuzlocke run.
Then pic related, a couple of weeks ago in another SS nuzlocke. And just last week I caught a shiny ditto in a Leaf Green nuzlocke.

I had looked it up before and everywhere it said that shiny ditto just evolves into a copy of the other pokemon.

At least in this gen. It's pretty cool to basically have a cooler copy of the original, pity it doesn't have Imposter.
