>>21898791 ? Also, in general, I think that our visual style could and should be a little more like gen 4 then it is now (Our terrain tiles should be more minimalistic, the grass, rocks, and water tiles in that image are way too busy), but that has no relevance on what I am saying now.
Also, on a related but separate note, I'd really like it if our routes had tree barriers like GF's did. We voted to have a hex pattern for our tree walls, but we don't actually have any areas other then the forest that have walls of trees, and those are kinda hallmark of pokemon games.

>>21905452Well the image you used is a horrible example considering the stairs and the house stick out like a sore thumb compared to the trees, ground, and rocks/benches. The ground/rocks/trees/benches have a lower contrast, softer, more painted style, like the majority of our exterior tiles, while the house and stairs have a very clean, geometric, pixel look to them, which is what our interior tiles have.
