>>49290079 I've thought about the same thing. There's like a hundred different berries in main series. Ideas:
Pinap: Double candy
Oran: 2 certain extra candy instead of 3 + half of Nanab's effect
Nanab: Calms the Pokémon
Wepear: Half of the effects of both Nanab and Razz
Razz: Makes the Pokémon easier to catch
Bluk: 2 extra candy + half of Razz's effect
Leppa: Doubles stardust if Pokémon is caught with this
Persim: +50% stardust + half of Razz
Aspear: +50% stardust + half of Nanab
Pecha: +50% stardust + 1 extra candy
Lum: 1 extra candy, 33% of Nanab's effect, 33% of Razz's effect, +33% stardust.
Micle: 1 automatic XL with 50% higher chance for 2 and 25% higher chance for a 3rd one
Enigma: Automatic 3 XL-candies (Rare)
Cornn: Makes a Pokémon harder to catch, but prevents it from fleeing if the next catch fails. (Doesn't work for raids, obviously)
Then there's the berries that in MSG lower super effective damage from an attack of each type, like Occa for Fire, Rindo for Grass and so on. They could be specific to certain types, but possibly so that they have the combined effects of Razz, Pinap, Nanab and Leppa (double stardust) but they only work on specific types of Pokémon, like Occa for Fire etc.
Also,
>>49290107 You can't get them without coins. Berries could and should be available from Pokéstops, gifts etc. Star Piece/Lucky Egg is still a more powerful and consistent way of getting dust/exp, so it's still worth using.
