If we are also doing our pokemon world autistic headcanon, I tried the beating gyms and entering leagues life, starting with a torchic my extended family gave me, but I would not have much luck in leagues despite doing well in gyms.
Currently, I'm volunteering around while living off my savings while me and Blaziken try to overcome my naturally bad reflexes, which we agree costed us many league battles, and trying out an ordering style based on claps and whistles. Not sure if it will work on Porygon-z, though.
